When comes to fall, I instantly think of scarves, boots, pumpkin spiced everything and the official start of chili season. I love making chili because it allows my to get creative and add different things each time; even the type of cheese I top it with.
Here’s a look at what I used in my most recent batch.
One can of tomato sauce
Season ground turkey with lawry’s and fry in skillet until brown.
Add ground turkey to large pot with beans, chopped onions, chopped kale, 2 teaspoons of ground cumin, 3 teaspoons of chili powder, tomato sauce and water (as needed)
Cook at a medium heat and stir every 3-5 minutes for about 25 minutes.
Add crackers, cheese or whatever you fancy.
Curl up on the couch and enjoy!
