If you read my bio you know I currently reside in Monroe. Well, here lies a little gem that goes by the name of Restaurant Cotton. The owner, Chef Cory Bahr, won Chopped back in 2011. The cuisine is accompanied by a detailed southern decor.
Unfortunately, I arrived at 9:30 on a Saturday night. By then, hardly anything on the menu was in-house. I started with the deviled eggs (which were heavenly), and took a chance on the burger (which I thought would be settling.) However, I was pleasantly surprised. Most tender. Burger. Ever.
All and all … if you’re looking for the ultimate southern dining experience DO visit Restaurant Cotton. If you want to try several items off of the menu, DON’T arrive at 9:30.
